CREDENTIALS

Licensed Professional Counselor — Texas
Licensed Mental Health Counselor- Indiana
20+ years in community and clinical mental health
Specialized training in mind-body medicine, Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT, and Gottman Method.

I started out in community mental health more than twenty years ago, and it shaped everything about how I practice.

Most of my work has been with underserved populations and individuals navigating the most complex layers of the mental health system. I've learned that people aren't defined by their symptoms; they're defined by how they manage them.

My approach is focused on capacity rather than deficit. We look at what is already functioning—your resilience, your specific survival strategies, your values—and we use those as the foundation for the changes you want to make. My goal is to help clients understand themselves and develop a stronger sense of who they are with grace, strength and dignity.

I work with adults and teenagers (13+) who are navigating anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, identity development, self-confidence, relationships or major life transitions. I don't believe in quick fixes, but I do believe in practical progress.

I am licensed to practice in both Texas and Indiana. All sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video, allowing you to engage in deep work from a space where you already feel safe.

What you can expect from me

Straight answers

I reflect back what I see clearly and honestly. You won't have to guess what I'm thinking or leave wondering if we're getting anywhere.

No judgment you can feel

After two decades in mental health, there is very little that surprises me. Your sessions are a place for the absolute truth, not the filtered version.

Something to take with you

Insight is good, but tools are better. We work to ensure you leave each session with a thought, a practice, or a perspective that holds up in real life.

Your pace on the hard parts

We go as slow as you need. I'm here to support the work, not to force a timeline that your nervous system isn't ready for.
